It snowed today. It was the kind of wet, heavy snow that hurts your back if you shovel too long or too much. I was tired. A photographer friend messaged me early in the morning to let me know Morton was beautiful. By mid afternoon, I noticed the sun peeking out from behind the moist clouds. I knew I had to make a visit at sunset. It was worth it. Morton was glorious and, except for other photographers, empty – my favorite combination.
This is Lake Marmo, located on the West side. One of these days maybe I’ll rent a fish eye lens.
